Tillman L. Whitt, age 74, of Council Bluffs, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016, at his residence.

He was born on December 10, 1941, in Cowpens, S.C., to the late Tillman and Carrie (Pasco) Whitt. He started school at the Nebraska School for the Deaf and Graduated from the Iowa School for the Deaf in 1961. He worked as a production line worker for Connectivity Solutions, retiring in 2006. He married Susan Schultz on September 23, 1978. He was a member of First Assembly of God; Deaf Senior Citizen Centers in Omaha and Council Bluffs.

Tillman is survived by his wife, Susan Whitt, of Council Bluffs; 3 sons, Roland Whitt, Byron and Mary Whitt, all of Kansas City, Kan., Ron and Martha Christian, of Maryville, Mo.; daughter, Cindy and Larry Huskey, of Pattonsburg, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery, 1350 E. Pierce Street, Council Bluffs, Iowa 51503

Tillman worked in production, he retired from Connectivity Solutions, 31 Dec 2005.
