Oliver Wendell Whitaker, age 83, the son of Lenwood and Thelma Elizabeth (Gay) Whitaker, was born June 4, 1935 in Norfolk, Virginia. He passed away July 17, 2018 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Oliver was preceded in death by parents, Lenwood and Thelma (Gay) Whitaker. He is survived by wife, Faye (Foster) Whitaker; daughter, Sandra Martino; grandchildren, Wayne Martino Jr., Michelle Martino; great-granddaughter, Rylee Martino; siblings, Carolyn (Calvin) Gibson-Patrick, Linwood (Janice) Whitaker, Johnnie Mae Paskins, Donnell (Augusta) Whitaker; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation: 5-7 P.M. Fri. at Forest Lawn.

Services: 9:30 A.M., Sat. July 28 at Forest Lawn.

Interment: Forest Lawn Cemetery with Military Honors.

Oliver retired from the works on 25 Sep 1997.
