Survived by mother, Elsie Downs; sister, Betty Pheffer; half-brother, Walter Downs; many relatives and friends.

Remains donated to the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Anatomical Board.

Memorial: A luncheon will be held Thursday 1pm May 19, 2011 at the Bohemian Cafe, 1406 So. 13th Street, Omaha, NE.

James was an engineer, retiring from the Works on 30 Dec 1989.
