Lonnie was preceded in death by wife, Carol Sick; brother, Ernest Sick. Survived by daughter, Sandra (Charles) Howell; son, Vernon Anderson; grandchildren, Justin, Ashley, Mitchell, and Andrew; siblings, Charles Sick, Elsa Martin, and Leo Sick. He will always be remembered as a devoted husband and father. He was a kind-hearted, towering man with a gentle heart, deeply respected and admired...and will be missed.

Services: Graveside services will be Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11am at Westlawn Hillcrest Memorial Park. A celebration of life lunch gathering will be at 1pm at the LaVista Keno Hall Banquet Room, 7101 S 84th Street, La Vista, NE 68128 after the services. Lonnie would expect nothing more than casual attire. We will be sharing memories of him in one of his favorite places.
