John was preceded in death by his parents John Jr. and Beverly (Doty); grandson Andre.

He is survived by his children Michelle, Miranda, and Tim; grandchildren Ethan and Ira; brothers David and Steve; sisters Rose (Larry), Mary (John) and Nancy; numerous nieces and nephews.

Services: A Cellebratiion of Life at, 11 A.M., Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 7909 Mormon Bridge Road, Omaha, NE 68152. The family will also be having a lunch following the service at the VFW off 90th and Military at 12:30 P.M.

John retired from the Omaha Works on 31 Dec 2005, with 35 years of service.
