Joyce McCord Ossler, daughter of, Helen Petersen, and Bernie McCord, was born August 3, 1940 in Dennison, Iowa. She departed this life Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in Climax Springs, Missouri, at the age of seventy-six years, two months, and sixteen days.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband William Ossler.

Joyce is survived by her fiancé, Jerry Konwinski, of the home; her daughter, Loree Boesiger and husband Phred of Yankton, South Dakota; her grandchildren, Jamie Thompson and husband John of Omaha, Nebraska, Lisa Simons and husband William of Omaha, Nebraska, Adam Israelson and fiancé Ashley; three sisters, Mary Jane Luttrell and husband Wayne of Rockwall, Texas, Kim Petersen of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Margie Ann Stratton of Omaha, Nebraska; a brother, Tom Petersen and wife Debra of Thornton, Colorado; three great-grandchildren, Jesse Henson, Cassandra Thompson, and Ariana Thompson; a number of nieces, nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Church in Climax Springs, Missouri.

Joyce spent her years working at AT&T, Chances “R”, and Chuck Wagon Cafe. She was a member of the Firefighters Association of Missouri, Treasurer for Camden Ambulance District, Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Kiwanis International, and Fraternal Order of Eagles. She enjoyed helping out others whenever someone needed a hand.

Joyce was a loving fiancé, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her many accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories that she has created for her family and friends.

Visitation: 1:00 P.M. until time of service Tuesday in the funeral home.

Services: 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.

Memorials: May be left for the family at the funeral home on the day of the services.
