Growing up in Wisner NE, she moved to Omaha after High School and worked as a secretary at Western Electric. Married for 62 years to her late husband, Richard "Dick" Orr. She loved reading, sewing, gardening, and crosswords. She was a life-long student of the Bible. She saved countless lives with over 12 gallons in blood donations and countless time-consuming platelet donations. A Camp Fire Girl leader for many years, and very active in her Church. She later worked for Kelly Services and Farm Credit. She was known for being quick to lend a hand unasked, to listen attentively, and to offer comfort and encouragement. Celebrating her life are 2 daughters, June Roberts (Tom) of California, and Wendy Smith of Minnesota; and grandchildren: Dan Roberts (Chelsea Sheldon), Troy Roberts, and Rebekah Smith.
