Shirley was born to Clarence and Ruby (Vickers) Michel on October 19, 1946
in Auburn, Nebraska. She grew up in Auburn and Fremont and received her
education in the Fremont public schools.
She retired from Western Electric after 25 years of employment there.
Survivors include: daughter – Jayme ‘Brenda’ and husband James Hughes of
Phoenix, Ariz.; brothers, Ron Michel of Lincoln and Jim Eads of Gravois
Mills, Missouri; sisters, Donna Schwenck of Omaha, Judy Michel of Blair,
Vineta Knudsen of Blair, Patricia Barley of Las Vegas, Nevada, Bobbi Collins
of Fremont, and Melody Eads of Columbus; 4 granddaughters and 4 great
grandchildren.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will held on at 2 PM. There is no visitation.
Visitation: No visitation.
Services: 2 P.M., Monday, May 13th, at the Ludvigsen Mortuary, Fremont, NE.
