Alta was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley McPheeters; parents, Herbert and Omega Jones; sisters, Leucille Glover and Opal Hill; son, Richard G. McPheeters and daughter-in-law, Shirley; grandson, Robert.

Survivors include sons, Joseph W. (Carol) and Dale (Judy) McPheeters; grandchildren, Heidi, Scott, Jody, and Wade; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Zelma Brazeel.

Alta retired from Western Electric and enjoyed needlework, knitting, and collecting cook books. She also loved cooking for family gatherings.

Services: Thursday 11 A.M. at Westlawn Hillcrest Funeral Home.

Visitation: Wednesday 4-8 P.M. with family receiving friends 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Alta retired, 17 Apr 1986.
