Edward was preceded in death by wife, Dolores Kent; brothers, Alvin Kent and Myron Kent.

Survived by children, Christine (Rex) Lawrence, Gerald (Terri) Kent, Michael (Pamela) Kent, Kathleen (Casey) Hug; grandchildren, Michelle (Jesse) Frederick, Ryan (Kayti) Boykin, Josh Lawrence, Brandy, Aubrey and Faith Kent, Haley Tornquist, Kelsey and Easton Kent, and Taylor Hug; great-grandchildren, Wyett and Ryker Boykin.

Edward retired from AT&T after 37 years. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church until its recent closing. There was nothing he enjoyed more than spending family time and being a proud grandpa.

Visitation: Wednesday, October 5th, from 5-7 P.M. with a wake service, at 7 P.M., Crosby Colonial Chapel.

Services: Thursday, October 6, at 10 A.M., Crosby Colonial Chapel.

Inurnment: Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials: To St. Anthony Catholic Church - Steinauer, NE or St. John's Catholic Church - Valley, NE, in lieu of flowers.

Edward retired, 19 Apr 1996.
