Mona J. Johnson, age 70, of Fremont, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015 in the Pathfinder House, Fremont.

Mona was born in Fremont on October 15, 1944 to Elton and Mary (Olsen) Penner. Following graduation from Fremont High School, she began working for Western Electric, which later became Lucent Technology. She retired after 31 years there.

Mona was married to Donald Duane Johnson, they divorced later.

Survivors include; son, Michael and wife Theresa Johnson of Fremont; daughter Terri and husband David Apanian of Cumming, Georgia; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Visitation: Ludvigsen Mortuary, Wednesday, 3-8 P.M., with the family present from 6-8 P.M.

Services: 10:30 A.M. Thursday at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel.

Interment: Later at Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials: Suggested to the Dodge County Humane Society.

Mona retired, 15 Sep 2000.
