Albert Shadley Guthrie, age 91, Lincoln, formerly Louisville, passed away March 25, 2017 at Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln. He was born August 9, 1925 in Bloomfield, Iowa to John and Clara (Shadley) Guthrie. Albert was a Korean War and United States Army veteran. He was a longtime employee at Western Electric in Omaha and a member of the First Baptist Church in Plattsmouth.

Survivors include his sons, John of Louisville, Joseph (Susan) of Wichita, Kansas, and Clair (Mary) of Lincoln, 7 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren and a sister, Alice Snell of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Visitation: 10:00 - 11:00 A. M., Thursday, March 30, 2017 at First Baptist Church, 16220 Highway 75, Plattsmouth.

Services: 11:00 A. M., Thursday, March 30, 2017 at First Baptist Church, 16220 Highway 75, Plattsmouth.

Interment: Oak Hill Cemetery.

Albert worked in plant trades, he retired from the Omaha Works on 31 Oct 1986.
