Vino Eugene Ecker, 69, Clearmont, Missouri died Monday, April 19, 2010, at the Tarkio Rehab & Health Care Center, Tarkio, Missouri. He was born April 7, 1941 in Elmo, Missouri, the son of Wilford Loren and Maxine Elizabeth (Riddle) Ecker. A graduate of South High School, Omaha, Nebraska, Eugene was employed by Western Electric as a production worker and he was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Union, Omaha. In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by a son, Jon Ecker. Survivors include a son: Steve Michael Ecker, Missouri Valley, Iowa; three daughters: Michelle Anne Berry, Missouri Valley; Thana Jean Hannah, Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Deborah Leah Ecker, Tucson, Arizona; ten grand-children; three great-grandchildren; two brothers: Ronald Dean Ecker, Seattle, Washington and Loren Wesley Ecker, Richmond, California; three sisters: Phyllis Jeanne Armstrong, Burney, California, Dorothy Marie Franks, Logan Iowa, and Darlene Ecker, Council Bluffs and nieces and nephews.

Mr. Eckers’s body has been cremated, a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
