Phyllis A. Depue, of Fremont, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at
Dunklau Gardens.
Phyllis was born February 7, 1939 in Taylor, Nebraska to Arnold and
Carol Campbell. She moved to Fremont where she attended and graduated
from Fremont High School. She met and married Eugene P. Depue in 1958 in
Fremont. She worked for Campbell Soup Company and later retired from
Lucent Technologies in 2001.
She became a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints
in 1979. She had multiple callings throughout the church but was
primarily in the nursery caring for and working with the children.
Phyllis enjoyed crocheting, reading good books and the Hallmark channel.
She loved watching and spending time with children, especially her
grandchildren whom she adored. Phyllis will be remembered for her caring
smile and her heart of gold.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene P., daughter
Kellie Steffens-Depue and brother Gary Campbell.
She is survived by sons Michael (Bobbie) Depue of Fremont, Gene (Nancy)
Depue of Columbus, NE, Gary (Kami) Depue of Fremont, Brian Depue of
Axtell, NE, daughter Karen (Richard) Reiger of Fremont, brother Dean
(Sandy) Campbell of Peoria, AZ, Bruce (Jennifer) Campbell of Maine,
Dennis (Nelda) Campbell of Fremont, Dave (Deb) Campbell of Fremont,
sister Connie (Terry) Laymen of Phoenix, AZ, 16 grandchildren, 19
great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild, and many nieces, nephews,
family and friends.
Visitation: Friday, February 24, 2017 from 4-8 P.M. with family present
from 6-8 P.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel.
Service: Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 9 A.M. at The Church Of Jesus
Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Interment: Memorial Cemetery, Fremont, NE.

St, Ste 200 Omaha, Nebraska.
Phyllis worked in the cabinet shop. She retired, 18 Aug 2001.
