Denton, Robert Eastman. After a long struggle and courageous fight with a
rare form of cancer, Bob passed to his eternal rest surrounded by his
family. He is survived by his wife, Joan, daughters Marianne (James Wille)
and Lynn Kahl, son Bob and sister Jean (Denton) Clark of Milford, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his sister Sara (Denton) Perrings.
Survived by grandchildren Valerie and Daniel Kronberg, Grant and Logan Wille,
Brennen, Marlee, and Maxie Denton, and Melissa, Tenley, and Travis Kahl.
Bob was raised in Detroit and Utica, Michigan and graduated from Eastern
Michigan University. He served in the United States Army during the Korean
War. Bob had a successful career in engineering management for Western
Electric/AT&T and was a president of the Cornhusker Chapter of Telephone
Pioneers of America. In retirement, he volunteered doing income tax
consulting for AARP.
Visitation: Friday from 5:00PM-8:00PM at Crosby Colonial Chapel.
Service: Saturday 1PM at Countryside Community Church.
Private Inurnment.
Memorials may be given to Methodist Hospice or the Omaha Food Bank.
