John E. Barnhill, age 75, of Valley, NE, died 4/8/14. He is survived by brothers and sisters: Frederick (Clarice) of Elkhorn, NE, Betty (Charles) Carlson of Oklahoma City, OK, Rodney (Maxine) Barnhill of Fremont, NE, and Cherie Barnhill of Fremont, NE, and special niece, Jane & husband Keith Lawson & family, plus many other nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation: Noon to 8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home with family receiving friends from 5-8 P.M.

Services: 10:30 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home in Elkhorn.

Interment: Prospect Hill Cemetery, Elkhorn with military honors by Valley American Legion Post #58.

Memorials: To the DC West football and wrestling programs or Pathways to Compassion Hospice, Omaha.

John worked in the 50 Building as an inspector. He retired 13 Aug 1999.
